After a first, rough break up, Anne Huang finds herself questioning her life. Her stories seems to be getting her no work, a standard bio class is keeping her from graduating High school, and people just can't seem to trust her anymore.
Steven Kon simply was bored. He was going to off himself the very day he met Anne in order to meet the "Monster" as he calls it, who lives in the Lione Bakery down the street.
Alice DeLione is the last of his "Monster" brothers. He promised Steven a place in his Kingdom if he could corrupt one human. And while keeping an eye on Steven's new "Monster" powers and running the Lione Bakery, he has to keep up on Elisa Quarter, owner of rival bakery, Sweet Haven.
One wants freedom, the other wants security in a place, and the last wants to bake the ultimate muffin.
